DA e-toll protest goes airborne

Just vote DA anyway .. we know it's not perfect but it's damn near the government we should have had instead of this ANC crap.
 
A Vote for anyone but the ANC is a good vote.... wait unless its for the EFF
 
DA would have been better off standing in malls and informing the sheep why they should not buy an e-tag. So many uninformed consumers out there and sending a plane into the sky will really do jack for anyone. Cheap electioneering to me - even the FF+ showed more guts...
 
Its a brilliant initiative and will get under SANRAL and the ANCs skin

Gauteng Province will be renamed to eToli. ANC hopes to have the new name effective from 1 April 2014.

I like the EFF because they can steal votes from the ANC.
I am scared of the EFF because they can steal so many votes from the ANC.

We have seen with Zuma that a slippery criminal can still attain high office in SA. So Malema with his legal woes shouldn't worry.

10-15% of the vote is the sweet spot if the EFF manages to pull 10% from the ANC the game changes
 
more accurate slogan. DA: the ANC you thought you were voting for in '94 or DA: More of the same without some of the corruption and incompetence.

Cheap? I think not. Did the FF donate millions to fight this in court? The DA have spent a considerable amount of time, money and energy on this. I dont think what you are saying is a fair statement at all.
 
Pie in the sky hopes that a plane will make any difference to anything but their voting campaign.

I do think it is a fair statement, considering that the DA has the biggest chance to go head-to-head against the ANC. Don't get me wrong, I think it is good and healthy to have opposition parties and my issue with the way the DA or the FF+ handle etolls is just from a publicity and electioneering point and show hardly any interest in the public affected.

If they did have concern for the people affected they should be operating at grassroot level (i.e. at malls, petrol stations etc) to educate people and not have some plane drag a banner - was hardly worth it.
