My point, which you seem to blatantly ignore since it doesn't fit with your agenda, is that the only city that isn't run by the ANC has a reputation of being the best run city in the country, is clean, wins awards that actually mean something.

If it is an insult, which again you assume. It's a phrase used in mainstream media as well. As far as bases are concerned, it fits with the accusation that she's interested in appearances rather than substance, hence the Botox jibe. Again, I am failing to see how you link the showerhead thing for JZ, which is a valid social commentary, to calling Mrs Zille, Ms Botox. And if she cares about how she looks, how does that detract from her message to the voters? You have heard of branding, and all of that have you not? She is now the face of a political party, and you can't have that person looking old and worn-out

I am talking about the areas which I frequent, being the area from the CBD to the Southern Suburbs. Other areas I cannot comment about.

The CCTV system which doesn't work. The official parking attendants who rip you off at every turn, the drug dealing in the Main Rds which go unchecked. The potholes, the rubbish, the taxis (yes they come under the Metro police), the Metro police themselves (under the mayor), the lack of road maintenance, unresponsive council officials, the choked up dying rivers, ... yes, it's definitely far far better, especially if you live in Durban

I don't do that, I respond to manifestos and DA claims. If they shut up, I wouldn't say much. The fact is that they make lofty claims, but there is no substance. That's the nub of my argument, whether I agree with their policies or not.

News on CT has been much better since the DA took over which is no mean feat seeing that the ANC is running the SABC. The DA's manifesto is also great, let's hope they take the Western Cape this election.

There is a world of difference between calling someone, who systematically held back telecommunications in this country, Stalin-Mofele, and calling someone who has worked hard for the upliftment of all people Ms Botox (of which I'm still waiting for the evidence that this term is used by the mainstream media, I've searched and couldn't find any credible reference)

We definitely are not trying to get you to vote for the DA. This is your democratic right to choose. However for you to insult an honourable woman with more guts than any political leader any where in this country today is just not right.......If you want this country to be run by this closed group of cronies from the ANC/COPE you may gladly vote for them. Keep this in mind though, in every muncipality we have a good service record...........If you watched this event on tv you would have seen the stats as presented by Joe Seremane

Crime in the inner city in CT is down by more than 80% since the DA took over. There was more houses build than in any other muncipalty which is not governed by the DA.

Now I also want you to ask yourself this question......Are you just going to keep on complaining about what has not been done YET or are you going to bring about change and vote DA.......One nation, One future...
