DA has no right to interfere: SABC

They do when it's a state owned enterprise.

Funny .... when Faith Mthambi of the ANC got involved it was quite acceptable ..... but not for the DA to get involved.

standards standards <-------------------- double standards .... yet again in our little Banthustani paradise.

You don't understand. In the anc democracy the state is owned by the anc.

You wish, in an African democracy the president owns everything, apparently..

Myeni was apparently very upset and accused the executive committee of teaming up with the treasury to scupper her plans.

“She said SAA belongs to the state, the state belongs to the president and therefore SAA has to listen to the president.

From the same political school that believes when you have a majority, it means you have more rights.. LOL!

Erm SABC, go read the constitution and your mandate as the public broadcaster... You fsking muppets!

DA is part of SA government so they have the right to info on SABC processes

The DA being part the official opposition parties in SA and part of the democratically elected government has every right to know how public funds (TV licenses and Tax money given to assist SABC) are being spent. I am sure the COO of SABC has some sort of item in his performance contract that would have mention of the SA government in it. Failing that, the SABC is the official broadcaster for public television in SA and is not a privately owned entity. Also failing that, have they not heard of PAIA?

Don't worry now, poor beleaguered SABC, your beloved ANC political party/ government will probably come to your aid against these racist "bullies". If that does not happen, please note that the apartheid government can still be used as an excuse to deflect any unwanted attention. Just say that due to apartheid government's fault you cannot run as efficiently as you are expected to by the SA citizens.
