SA doesn't give citizenship to people born illegally in the country.
Yup, heard this recently. We dont have the same rules like USA where people born her auto get citizenship. Guess thats a good thing

Illegal immigrants. The child of legal reaidents may apply for and be given SA citizenship. Simply being born in SA does not in itself grant citizenship.

Not defending the DA. Rather, defending the ANC-run SA government that officially says on official paper that this woman is a South African.
If her SA credentials are good enough for the government then surely they are good enough for the DA, no?

We understand that her mother lied on her birth certificate. Her mother was also suspected of taking money from a government department. I'm not sure what the outcome of that was, but it doesn't give her a good track record.
