It isn't entirely their fault:
Their support in parliament is limited. It is a small minority compared to the UK.
also.. the UK uses a confrontational system, where the parties face each other two sword-lengths apart in the chamber, where they debate and score points off each other. I doubt whether the ANC could manage such an approach. It really is beyond them.

look 2 ministers competing is at least some form of competition. might not be helpfull at all in driving the prices down but at least its better than a kick in the teeth
