DA would welcome ANC rebels, says Maimane

Now this is what I like to see from the DA.

Get in all the rebels with a backbone and that way you can draw away more ANC votes.

Nothing wrong with incorporating the best parts of the ANC into the DA.

I don't see how DA supporters can see this as going against their voters.

as a DA supporter I want a better South Africa for ALL citizens. The ANC has exceptional core values which are being ruined by cronies. The DA and the ANC of old have similar values. Why would welcoming people who want to defend the constitution and fight corruption be against DA politics :confused:

Fk me, for once I agree with Champ :o

Wrong

The mineral wealth beneath the soil, the banks and monopoly industry shall be transferred to the ownership of the people as a whole;
All other industry and trade shall be controlled to assist the well-being of the people;
Restrictions of land ownership on a racial basis shall be ended, and all the land redivided amongst those who work it, to banish famine and land hunger;
The state shall help the peasants with implements, seed, tractors and dams to save the soil and assist the tillers;
All shall have the right to occupy land wherever they choose;
Copying failed communist and facist policies that resulted in the starvation and murder of millions is an "exceptional core value"?

And yes I said fascist. Mussolini loved the idea of state controlled private industry.

pretty sure the DA is linked too....

not going to bother looking for those news articles...
You seriously tryna compare the scale of ANC corruption to those of anyone else? Lol you have some balls..

They welcomed many members of the National Party, this is nothing.

It wasn't a rhetorical question. Almost no info from Google about specific members. Several results did say that both the DP and ANC have taken former NP members in. So I don't see why this should be an issue.

Members of different parties defect all the time, no big announcement is made everytime a DA member defects to ANC or vice versa, no info on google should not be a surprise.

No one said it's an issue.

These are not the words you are looking for.

And besides that a great many of the NP members ended up in the ANC as well didn't they?

So it's really a non-issue.

The ANC is a rotten organisation and anybody that has been a part of it on a functional level in the past 10 or so years has been morally and ethically compromised. These people that suddenly found a conscience and voted against Zuma, they were awfully silent in the preceding years when he and his cronies were screwing the country over.

Let them band together and form another ANC splinter that peels a few more votes away from the ANC.

There's a man talking. (Or a woman who identifies herself as a man; or a gender-challenged person/bot who identifies as a man; or a ... never mind, this makes sense).
