Daemon Tools lite works like a charm on Windows 7 64x
DAEMON Tools Lite v4.35.5 (with SPTD 1.62)

theyve updated the SPTD drivers which was previously the issue. Im running it without hassle.

Well had the same issue. Installed Virtual Clone & never looked back since.
thats the one that brings up the error, all the ones i found on google dont work

Use the latest daemon tools.

install the sp driver for 64 bit as a stand alone first then do the program.
what does sp stand for?

I could never get Daemon Tools to work with Win 7 either. I wasn't going to bypass a system warning about stability issues.
I'm using VirtualCD v.10 ... well worth the investment.
