Daily vs Weekly vs Monthly data bundles

It is typically cheaper to buy a monthly mobile data bundle than several weekly or daily bundles over the course of 30 - but there are exceptions to this rule.

This was the finding of a data bundle price comparison conducted by MyBroadband.

Honestly.. i dont see the point daily and weekly bundles...

Monthly bundles just make sense.. thats pretty much all i use. Data never lasts.. its ridiculous

Definitely makes sense in terms of cost-saving with Telkom.
I could buy 1GB monthly data for R99 but I use that in a week.
Instead, I get 5-6GB for the same price using their mo-nice deals that last 1-2 weeks.

Problem is Monice offers are erratic. I have three sims and their deals all vary. On my current one I have 2, 7 and 10 day deals. And then there's the Allnet vs Telkom Data offers.

I've noticed that they stay mostly the same if you continuously use it.
I had a 1GB for R16 offer since mo-nice started until a month ago after not purchasing for a while.
Since then, I've been purchasing 2GB for R31

So how much is VC 1Gb 30 days on each channel? Where can we read up on what it is on each channel?

If you couldn't answer, bank website it's R149, my USSD it's R115, VC app it's R99. Point is, sometimes one has to test things out in the real world.
