Can anyone help me?

I am doing some research on Mobile VoIP and would like to know the following info, if anyone has access to it?

1. The % split between pre and post pay subscribers in SA.
2. In the post pay category what is the % split between high end, mid tier and low end users.

I know total subscribers is 39,000,000 but not sure how that is broken down.

Help much appreciated.

You could probably subtract the number of pre-paid MTN and contract MTN customers since MTN effectively still limits upload speed to 64kbits/s which severely degrades the VoIP experience, MTN has apparently changed this for a handful of base-stations, i.e. very few MTN customers are able to get decent upload speeds for VoIP.

Upload speed on Vodacom's HSDPA network is 384kbits/s.

CellC doesn't have HSDPA, so upload speed is limited, but possibly sufficient.

At least 80kbits/s uplink is required for a decent quality Skype call.
