Johannesburg - Five highly dangerous awaiting-trial prisoners escaped from the Wellington Prison in Mthatha on Sunday, Eastern Cape police said.

"The prisoners managed to escape at 03:15 this morning by sawing through the burglar guards of their cell room with a hack-saw," said Superintendent Mzukisi Fatyela.

They put burglar guards (bars?) on prisons? Those things arent even that effective for houses let alone jail.

What's next? Trellidors?

wheres the huge walls with barbed wire, electric fencing, alarms, and cctv that set the perimeter??

Have any of you been to that place recently? Its complete chaos. Taxi's drive on the sidewalks and people walk in the streets, traffic lights don't work.. Complete arse end of the world.
