Daniel Radcliffe is gay

It appears that Daniel Radcliffe's teen appeal appears to have expanded into new territory as he received a long onstage kiss at an awards show - from a male fan.

The 18-year-old Harry Potter star bounded onstage to collect two top theatre awards for his West End debut in Equus - including one for his naked torso.

But while onstage host James Corden, 29-year-old actor and writer of BBC2 show Gavin and Stacey, grabbed the star, clasped his hands on his face and held on tightly for an embarassingly lingering kiss.

Ever the professional, the young actor who rose to fame as the young wizard, played along gamely, locking lips with Corden much to the amusement of the audience at the show on Sunday.

The Harry Potter star triumphed at the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' Choice Awards.

He was named the West End's Newcomer of the Year and his racy publicity shots - in which he posed naked with a horse and a semi-clad co-star - took the prize for Theatre Event of the Year.

Corden recently won Best Comedy Newcomer, along with onscreen partner Ruth Jones, 41 at the British Comedy Awards for show Gavin & Stacey which started life on BBC3 before getting an upgrade to BBC2.

The young actor told The Observer that he was stunned to get a phonecall from comic idol Peter Kay.

Corden said: "Peter Kay said Gavin & Stacey was the show he enjoyed watching most since The Royle Family.

"I love Peter Kay. I'd just read his book on holiday. I didn't know what to say."

Meanwhile, when Radcliffe had come up for air he described playing the role of troubled Alan Strang in Equus as "one of the greatest experiences of my life".

He said of his awards success: "I'm truly delighted and thank everyone so much for voting for me.

"Equus is a tremendous and thought-provoking play and I'm so proud and honoured to have been a part of this incredible production."

Have you been in hibernation for the last 10 years? Gay is the new pink... get over it :)

I don't know what women find attractive in men. I would totally understand it if all women become lesbians.

Erm... Do you live in brakpan? Men in brakpan aren't attractive I agree, but face it, there are some very handsome men out there... I won't name them as my taste is quite....erm....distinct ;)
 
There was nothing in that article that said he was gay. Methinks this thread needs a name change.
