Data and Moola gone...

So on Friday with 12 megs left and around 30 bucks in my account....decided to recharge and add a gig bundle....

Got SMS notification of my recharge of R300.00 - but my balance was now R303.00 and not R328.00 - and when I checked data balance was 1024megs - 12 megs that where there previously....ALL GONE....- called VdCom - service request was logged,....you will be sms'ed with the ref number...still waiting on that ref....or a call to kindly explain where my moola and data went?

Checked on Vodacom for me and there was a massive data spike at the time I recharged....+- 35 megs to access a banking site?....something that I do regularly and have never had this sort of net result.- checked the modem logs for the session and 2.5 megs is what I see....

So we wait and see what VCom tells me....
 
i had a similiar prob last nite
had a coupla rand left, no bundle
so decided to recharge via internet banking - get a message i now have R392.83 on my sim
so i try buying a mygig 2 via v4me and the sms thing and both say i have insufficient funds
so i call the call centre, lady who helped was friendly and couldnt understand how the same thing happened on her side, saw the balance was R392.83 but couldnt load a bundle either.
needless to say by the time she got back to me, my balance dropped to below R390, so i had to recharge again, then all of a sudden i could load a bundle without any problems.

So I made a call to 111

So I called Vodacom to find out about the resolution of the logged query.

I was advised, sir....but someone did call you back- they got voicemail and left a message....advising you that billing was correct....-

Oh that comes as a suprise to me, as my diverts are always off - how did they hit my mailbox to leave a message?

- While we on the issue, if billing was correct....why did I not get a notification that I had reached X amount of data left in my bundle via sms ??

I would have loaded a new bundle ---I am not partial to paying R2 a meg.


So who on this forum do I chat to to get a resolution to my query.

Oh yes....I never received any sms with a ref number....as advised when I logged the query on the 23/10-got the ref from a very nice lady on the other side of 111, Ouma, when I called today.
 
And so the end of the query....

Dropped a mail to Vodacom....explaining what happened.

Maxwell called me this morning. And the experience was pleasant. Resolution - I was credited for the data that I was charged out of bundle for, due to the fact that Vodacom low bundle notification service did not do its job. Could be as a result of my being a 074 number....they will investigate, - I do not even get the sms from 111 when logging an query. Alas, we did not get to the fact that someone closed the query before getting back to me.:cool:
