I get 500MB per month on my contract - and probably use about 600-650MB every month. So what I do is buy another 100MB or so for the last week and it kinda works out.

Though what happens if I buy a 500MB instead?

I'm guessing the last week I'll use 150MB as per usual - but what happens the next month?
Does it take off my contract 500MB then use the remaining 350MB from the bundle?
Does is still last until the end of the following much like it used to?

I'd buy around the 25th of the month - so end of next month it expires?

The 100MB is R29, the 500MB is R99 and the 1GB R149 - so it makes sense to buy those

I think with Vodacom it is carried over and expires at the end of the next month. So if you purchase it on 25th May and don't use all of it, it will carry over into June, and last until the end of June. If you don't use all of it in June, you lose it.

Vodacom changed their once off data bundles to expire in 30 days from purchase. No more expiry the end of the next month.

On my Top Up data contract I noticed my new allocation gets used first then my carried over data.
