Data bundle queries

I recently purchased two data bundles for which the window was still active.
3gb/365 in October 2012 and the all in one voucher valid till 23/01/2013.
All my data was used up so I bought some airtime thinking I can use the weekend special airtime for data before I buy another bundle.
I did a few app updates and the weekend special airtime was depleted and my normal airtime was being used.
Should I have not fallen into the 15c/mb category or does this not apply to the 3gb/365 day bundle?

Secondly, I wanted to add a giga 200 to my sim. There are long complicated processes for me to keep my number, which meant that I could not get it done last night.
Could the cell c rep confirm whether this can be done and whether the 99c for real price plan can still apply to me.
I am on prepaid.

i heard before that you first need to convert some or all of the airtime to a data bundle. I usually dial *147# and follow the sms prompts to convert the airtime I bought to a data bundle. after that it's supposed to be 15c/MB

The Giga 200 is a stand alone SIM card. You can't add it to another SIM card.

Hi,

To qualify for the 15c/MB charge you should have attached additional data bundle of any value and thereafter you will qualify for the OOB benefit for 30 days from the time you have attached the data bundle. The Giga 200 comes with a separate sim card but if you really want to keep your current number let us know and we can be able to assist by transferring your current number to the new giga sim card and yes you will still qualify for 99cents call rate of the Giga 200.

Thanks. I assumed that the 3gb bundle will cover me for out of bundle. I now know for a next time.

@cell c regarding keeping my number, I'd like to do that. Will contact you if I don't get joy with the store.
