Data bundles not available 2011/02/07 [SOLVED]

This morning I woke up to find out I have zero bundles on non of my data cards on (CellC Woooooosh Product)

I thought CELL C have finished with the migration process to new servers / whatever they were busy with over the weekend, phoned customer care service and was told I should try after 6am..

Come on seriously now I phoned them and the call dropped(error in connection) how irritating is that :(

Hopefully by 6am things should be working or else I am going to write a stinky letter to Tell Trevor :p
 
We have to phone at around 8am - I am assuming they have to do something on their end or to escalate the problem......

Today Cell C will probably be busy non-stop as over 1000+ of callers ask what happen to my Woooooosh data
 
Same problem here! Was just about to contact them, but if it's a widespread problem then hopefully they'll sort it out broadly. (And for the inconvenience, hope they reset it back to to 5GB :))
 
Same thing happened to me, ergo my post in another thread as I'd not seen this one.

Ok. At 00:39 this morning, I couldn't connect to anything data related - in fact, not anything at all.
I've got the 5GB deal, simcard in my SGS.
Was browsing the web just fine and then my browser was stalling.

I still had in excess of 3.6GB and when I did a balance check a bit earlier, there was none and my voice related balance was also clocked down to zero.

I doubled checked my TrafficInfo to see that there wasn't some underlying update of 3.6GB within 5 minutes and there wasn't.
So I thought that it may be related to this upgrade, but re-reading the article again, the upgrade happened on Saturday night.

So I'm :confused: for now, but leaning towards :mad: in the next hour or so...
 
This is total "BS" their notices did say from saturday-sunday nothing about monday morning upgrade/under construction....

I need my wooooosh now not after 8am......

UPDATE: noticed yesterday after they upgraded their servers/network things were not smooth sailing got disconnected a couple of times from the network(Connect but only able to visit 1 website) and only website I could visit "CellC" would be nice if "CellC" could have "MyBroadBand" as zero-rated....

Waiting patiently let's see what happens after 7am.....

This upgrade should of taken place from Saturday-Sunday not on a freaking Monday morning I rely on cellC for internet connectivity now relaying on my phone

nothing still!! this is seriously ridiculous!! some of us have work to do! all these thoughts running through my head...here i am thinking which bugger could have hacked my router....shew.....what a way to wake up this morning! anyway...back to vodacom again....
 
@neetz108 I agree fully with you this is fg ridiculous I would of assumed all work done would of been completed on sunday evening the latest..

Now I have to sit back and let a day of productivity pass by -- nobody hacked your router don't be paranoid the *101# clearly shows "Balance Only" no "Data" is visible.

Going quickly to PickNPay and buying a recharge voucher for iBurst. If things are not resolved by 8am

When I do *101# on my promo sim it gives:"balance = R0.00" and no data bundle is reported.

7:23am - *101# "balace = R0,00 Expiry date:16/10/2020.

waiting for 8am to change my title to irate customer....


Amazing nothing has been done no notices or cell rep at least to reply that they are aware of the situation and are resolving the matter. Checked twitter nothing.....

If someone does get any glory ask them nicely for their number that way they can age faster with us on their case.

I suppose they just tweeted that right after i posted on Trev, used some real ugly language (really frustrated).
 
Phew, now that is a relief cause I thought it was only me, woke up this morning thinking I must get my daily dose of MyBB but nada, f0kk0l, niks nie... :mad:
I hope they restore us to our original Gigs to show us how deeply sorry they are :love:
 
Lack of communication on "CellC side" as always they should of assembled a team from Early hours of this morning to escalate the problem not during business/ working hours...

Also noticed the update on twitter now....

How long will it take them to find the bug and I would like a press release to be out today on what were the upgrades for and how do they improve the service..

If no sms were sent out to inform users that they are experiences problems with data bundle and prepaid credit
