Data contract on existing sim - query

I ported my kids to CellC assuming the data deals are more cost effective over Vodacon.

I see when dialing *147# , under data bundles, it offers me the same pricing like Vodacon.

So I'm wondering if it's possible to load a data contract on an existing sim that will be used not just for data, but calls as well?

Top Up data contracts can be used to make calls and the call rates are not that but but not great either. I'm not sure if a existing sim can be migrated to a data contract that Cellc Direct 084145 can advise you on.

If it can't you can get a new Cellc contract with a new number and do what is called a "Number Change" where they move your number to the desired contract. That move is charged @ R250 once off.

The move is free if you request it on a new line.

To answer the first question, you cannot move from voice to data & vice versa. This can only be done once you have completed your contract.
