Just wondering about this.

If I sign up for a 2 years 3G contract now, and at the end of this year prices plumet/caps increase (as thought, with the Seacom cable) - will I be stuck to what I signed?

Or would Vodacom make an exception?

I mean I wouldn't want to sign R450.00 for 2GB now and by the end of the year, the new clients are paying R200.00 with a 'free' modem :/

Last time Vodacom dropped their data prices they dropped the rates on existing data customers as well. In fact MTN did the same.

That depends on the cellular service provider that you sign a contract with.

If you sign with VSP then you can be assured of a price decrease, however other non-VSP cellular service providers have been known to not pass on a price decrease from Vodacom.
