Data transfer using USSD

Has anyone successfully done a data transfer via USSD, or otherwise? I have a SIM with a 200GB bundle, 190GB left. I would like to transfer some of it to another SIM of mine. I get a error message saying I have no bundles.

Not while you are on a contract plan.

I’m on Cell C smart Data plan and the only thing I could do was to link new SIM cards that I now share the data with.

I can't see anything on that page referring to the 200GB bundle not being eligible for transfer. Mind you, I see the transfers expire within 7 days - close to useless.
