Hi all,

Ok, so I am nearing finally deciding to go 3G as a backup (for now in any case). I see alot of threads mentioning different data cards, like Novatel. Now, which ones are the most stable/best, and do you have an option to choose the card you want when you subscribe?

Thanks!

I think my question is related, so here goes:

What is the easiest way of getting a 3G card if you already have a messenger contract and a Blackberry contract with Vodacom and don't want to take out yet another contract? Is it possible to upgrade a contract before the 2 years is up (the messenger one).

If not, where is the best place to buy a 3G card and which one is recommended by the forum?

A little o/t, but still sort of relevant:
When you get the 3G contract, you get the data card and a SIM card ... that SIM card has its own Vodacom number, right?

Yes, its a regular Sim. Nothing special about it.
