Also the fact that haye almost had valuev down in the last round won him the fight.

So close to nailing him.

Sadly the fight was not pretty but it was effective from haye and honestly valuev did not really try and counter his movement.

I prefer haye, cocky arrogant but that is honestly better than boring valuev.

That fight was a setup - Haye is more marketable and eveyrone in the money knew that. The same reason Valuev got the belt from Holyfield IMO. It was about time for change.

Haye is a performer but reality says that both the Klitschkos can flatten him.

Well he did deserved to win in my opinion.

Perhaps if you look at it like:
Guy runs away from giant to avoid a fight and tries to get a few shots in.

I prefer to look at it like this:
Guy shoots his mouth off and claims he will be the first to knock giant out.
Guy spends 12 rounds running away when he realises he will get hurt if he gets too close to giant.

Yeah he threw some good punches at the end but he should have started earlier to get a little more respect cos he certainly didn't live up to his big mouth expectations. Boxing needs an overhaul - that fight smacked of a Don King deal.
