DAVOS-Zuma leaves Davos

Jan 28 (Reuters) - South African President Jacob Zuma has left the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and will miss panels he was due to address on Friday, but organisers said his departure was not linked to Nelson Mandela's admission to hospital.

A WEF spokeswoman confirmed Zuma had left, but said he had already changed his plans a week ago, before Mandela, 92, was admitted to hospital on Wednesday. However, Zuma was still on the programme for two high-profile panels on Friday morning.

A source close to Mandela told Reuters on Thursday he was recovering from a collapsed lung and could leave hospital as early as Friday. His foundation said he had been admitted for routine tests.

My bet is unless they start addressing just that we'll be seeing worldwide riots with people with no jobs & soaring food prices.
