Is there any new developments for P2P in South Africa. Since local bandwith is cheap I can't see the problem.
indeed yes. this month i've opted to rather try find a .nzb of a new torrent i see upload instead of downloading via p2p. faster in most cases.Yes, many new developments. However ye olde news servers still work perfectly well. Not p2p but still very good!
See this is what I like about the internet. You will always find someone whose opinion is the same, completely different or somewhat different than mine, yours ect.I still think its selfish, if you want to download, you must upload equaly.
Speed is limited to the upload of the other guy. Most DC hubs are filled with people using adsl, so the upload is slow & you'll get no speed benefit. The reason I want a SA hub is for speed reasons as well as using my local bandwidth.
