AFAIK it's just one proxy involved, don't think you ever get automatically shifted around in that respect. But each "proxy port of call" may at times choose to change the IP(s) in use for them.



No, I meant something like changing it every 2 or 3 days. If also the above idea sometimes ^^ then not something I've heard about.

Isn't there a requirement for static ip address/es to run a VPN service?

Hmm, let's wait and see if someone else has something to add. I expect there is a bit more to it.

I don't know if that is a v. good idea.

I mean, you are essentially trusting this entity to keep all your internet traffic private i.e. between them and you. Why would anyone go to the trouble and cost of doing that without you paying for it?

Sure, wait, but I've gone into it a lot and some of us have discussed the broader subject many times here. Not sure why you think that would be necessary / required, some sort of attempted control law perhaps?

Most want a lot more bandwidth, so pay. Fairly sure the main idea is to gain new customers by letting them try it.
I've kept mine free, don't feel a need for complete privacy and 10 GB per month is more than fine then. Had it for about 6 years...

This is similar to what European countries and the United Kingdom have implemented to ensure that predominantly US-based streaming giants are contributing to the socio-economic upliftment in the countries where they operate.

The difference is the UK, and Europe in general, produces quality content.

Windscribe last time created a new adapter every time I turned it off and on. Don't know what was up with that or if they fixed it but I can't imagine it being good for the system.

It's not a lot like 1GB most of the time so you can't really make use of it for everyday use. It's no risk to them as the traffic is minimal and people can try out the service with no restrictions so they end up with more paying customers.
 
This sure beats the usual DSTV daily articles we have had the last few weeks/months

No idea man, but their AI bot "Garry" is really good at answering questions, in my experience.

It's a terrible idea and this is why we see a plethora of nonsense 'woke' content on Netflix. The "upliftment" money really goes to jaded producers and talentless actors who serve up any slop to only serve a 'woke' agenda.
