Hi there

Until recently I was able to use my Afrihost DDNS address (username.ip.afrihost.co.za) and along with port forwarding on my router/firewall, I was able to access some of my internal servers, like CCTV or other web apps I host.

Afrihost support assisted me with an internet speed issue a few weeks ago, that involved logging a ticket with Metrofibre to resolve but since then I am unable to connect to my home network, using the DDNS address or the WAN IP I get (100.99.x.x)

Is this no longer a function Afrihost provides (Afrihost technical support advised this was the case) or is there something that was changed/broken when they resolved the internet issue.

Kind regards
RobG

You have a natted IP. Ask that they give you a new IP. NOC can assign one.

I believe WhatsApp Support assisted.
