Is it just one target getting hit? Any sense in null-routing it at the DD edge? (thinking aloud)

Multiple targets being hit, and we did null route on edge.

The attack has matured and is revealing that specific hosts are being targeted...

Haaibo. This article is not right as you can rate limit udp fragmentation.

"There are no internal protections that can limit the rate of a UDP flood. As a result, UDP flood DoS attacks are exceptionally dangerous because they can be executed with a limited amount of resources."

You don't have to use fragmented packets.

True if you have compromised an f5 but and with IP cameras the only way to scale the attack will be to use fragmented packets.

We noticed the same issue again currently.

I hope this get sorted soon, I know the issue at hand but after having this issue ells where and changed to different host and same issue.. all the best and hope you get this sorted as everything is down even the web site.
