DDR Timing

Can some 1 give me more detail on DDR timing.

I have 2 x 2 gig modules running 6-6-6-18 and 4 x 1 gig modules with 5-5-5-18 timing...

If i change from the 2 x 2 gig modules to the 1 gig modules will i see a noticeable performance improvement, or will it be so slight its not worth the effort?

RAM Timings Explained

The performance increase will be minuscule at best.
