I'm gonna use to for 3d modeling and 4gb(2*2) ram not that much cheaper. I have Gigabyte G33-D2SR which supports 1066.
yes, im planning on getting vista x64. Have they sorted out the compatibility + performance with it yet? I want a shell for an operating system.If they made 3ds max for linux I would just use linux.

+1. If you look at corsair xms2 RAM for instance, 1x2GB costs ~R530 for 800MHz whilst 1066MHz costs R750. But it's of no use because using 800 in dual allows for an 1600 fsb but you don't have that.....
