Dead Island: Official Announcement Trailer

A truly chilling trailer has been released for new game called Dead Island, the setting for this new game is the Royal Palms Resort on the remote island of Banoi in Papua New Guinea. So what sets the game apart from other zombie games? According to the developer Techland this game will be a dark and emotional experience and not your typical run and gun/beat em up Zombie game. The game will feature RPG elements as well as a leveling system and focus more on melee than shooting. If the trailer is anything to go by we might be in for a real treat.

Only problem is Kotaku reviewed the game and apparently the gameplay is not as emotional as the trailer is. Also the family in the video doesn't even feature in the game! siiiigh Still a good trailer though
