Dead Pixels on 2232GW

We have had a similar thread on stuck pixels that offered a few links and suggestions... normal recommendation would be to use search and read it but I am feeling generous

Just posting an update on the pixel story. Just today when I switched on the monitor I noticed that there are no longer any "dead" pixels so somehow time or moving it has cured it.

Also...if its stuck pixels..tap the pixel with a finger. That also works most times to unstuck it

I bought a 2232gw yesterday morning, second hand from my friend. Is a year old I PRRRRRAYYY that no pixels stuff out, i am in love with this screen already

I had a stuck pixel on my screen for about a month, just massaged each time with my thumb and its never been an issue since then (6 mths and counting). Its a 2yr old Sahara 19"

If its under warranty and the supplier does nothing about it, take it to Samsung directly and im sure they'll probably replace it.

If you phone Samsung they will just refer you to one of their subcontracted waranty repair centres. One of which is www.123crt.co.za in Sandton.

My 2232GW started dying on me. Some 'inverter' thing that broke. I took it to CRT Friday mroning and received it back on the next Monday. She works like a charm. You can contact CRT directly.
