I just got of the phone with Samsung, apparently vodacom is responsible for releasing OTA updates in my case it is for the Samsung Nexus S i9023. Can you maybe find out when we can expect the OTA update?

Ota updates cost moola. It's cheaper to use the pc method. I repeat, ota updates are not free! They use 3g data!

Someone correct if I am wrong. Lol

Samsung Nexus S can only be updated ota or through wifi.

Samsung Nexus S can only be updated ota or through wifi.

OTA over wifi isn't so bad. My HTC even has an option to only download updates over wifi.

Hi , just got feedback now , not good though. The guys are not aware of any OTA updates for Samsung devices by Vodacom.
