play.com has it as 29 September 2008. They have to make a plan because of warhammer and AOC which are being released soon. I think they released WOTLK F&F just before AOC on purpose.

Coincidently the same day as AoC. This means they are trying to keep the crowds happy, they drop a teaser and that will keep people happy for a month at most. So launch needs to happen asap
