Again iBurst has not put the debit order through. Every time the 1st falls on the weekend I have to go and make a manual payment. Can someone please explain to me why this is?

Just a wild guess...

...but I'd say it has something to do with the fact that iWorst generally, and their euphemistically named "accounts department" in particular have raised incompetence to an art form?

When this happened with me, they tried blaming the bank until I checked with the bank who PROVED that it was iWorst's fault!

The only company I can think of who were worse than this troop of imbeciles was D-SAT (the bunch of thieves who used to rest satellite equipment).

Going by the odd dates that the debit order used to go through for my account it looks like they do each debit manually.

This could explain why it goes missing when the 1st falls on a weekend as there is no body there to send the debit request.

@Grim_Reaper, I doubt that any company has a worse accounts department than iburst,,,,,maybe as bad but not worse.

I for one want to THANK ibust.

Yup, THANK.

I got ibust a few months after I got my first job fresh out of varsity. They opened my eyes to the reality of just how CR@P service is in SA.

They are by far the worst I have ever dealt with, but they made me think. Now I refuse to use debit orders where I can and I keep records of every communication I have with any company.

Sad but true. Service in SA sucks.

I tihnk I should offer some contractual services to develop a financial package that would actually work???

I doubt the problem is with the software they already have, more likely the problem is with the "people" that are using it.

From top to bottom that company has useless unqualified incompetent management and general staff, it's amazing that the company even lasted this long.

Well, when you plonk down a base station in a bandwidth starved country ppl will come running to you :)

iBurst (the technology) is awesome. ibust sa (the piece of sh|t company) just had it good for a while. They would plant a base station and ppl could run to get connected.

A year or so ago they reached the point where they could not just do everything cowboy style.

They are now at the point where they run around like a chicken that had its head chopped off. They have no concept of wtf they are doing.

Yeah I agree with you and I've said as much in many of my past posts that it is a good system, just a pity it landed up been marketed here in the wrong incompetent hands.:(

Then again they fit into the mindset of how things are been done here these days.
Lots of things in this country have reached the point of no return.....eskom, telkom, transnet to name a few that have been "run down" over the past few years besides a lot of other things such as potholed roads etc., the list goes on and on, it's a shame having to watch a country fall apart the way this one has.

I have honestly never had a problem with the service, until about 2 months ago when my account was disabled because of a debit order that was never sent through...

When I tried to get the account activated again I was told that would not be possible until I write a letter stating how I have cleaned my machine to prevent the DoS attacks that were coming from it??? Where on earth did that come from now??? From an unpaid debit order to my machine being broken... oh well... I've given up trying to get connected again and have moved to 3G.
