December ADSL usage stats

Hi

We have got 5 ADSL accounts because of all the high internet usage at out company. This month all 5 accounts have allready been capped for 5 days now! We have never before capped all 5 accounts according to the saix net usage stats we downloaded 2 gigs per day but our gateway server to which the ADSL is connected shows that onyl about 400 meg per days has been downloaded. Surely not all 5 accounts passwords and usernames could have been stolen only me and another guy at our offices know what the passwords are. Another friend of mine in here in Bloemfontein (other ISP's) also have the same type of problems this month.. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

PS. This new capping thing is totally crazy... we used to be able to use local torrent sites and emails when we were capped on an account now nothing

Download and install this:
http://antibody.za.net/extras/sasa.php

It will detect and highlight multiple concurrent connections made using your accounts - this would indicate that your account details have indeed been 'stolen' and you should change the passwords asap.

You should consider switching to an IS based account (such as openweb) - with these accounts you can access local sites up to 30GBs after hitting your cap.

You should also check if some of the staff are using the accounts at home or maybe a disgruntled former employee.
