December : The worst time for a break up!

My ex and I also parted ways in the last few days. To top things off, my mother, sister and daughter moved to the netherlands yesterday. It's gonna be one lonely xmas. I think that I'm going to fall into a bottler of vodka and hope that it'll all be over when I wake up.

P.s. anybody feel like having a stranger over for xmas lunch ? :p

Very much the same boat ; I'm a week tomorrow. Living tofwther for about 18 months.

I love and care for her as well tbh - but I haven't been as strong as you regarding the contacting. Though - I know she's going through a rought patch and I'm not an arsehole. Thought she was Mrs Dolby :/

I'll put things aside and ask how she's doing - every 3 hours *blush*

Wow, thats depressing. I had a mate who always ended up single at this time of year. I always used to tell him to put off the buying of presents until the last minute, or buy something he would want to keep!
 
Drink and have sex.... safe sex. It's drinking season getting nookie is easy. mind numbing sex.

Im not as heavily affected as her though, i think she was planning marriage for us, wanted me to be the one etc etc. But i wasnt thinking the same. Typical i guess, i broke my last ex's heart the same way.. Damnit why do women fall inlove with me that easily..i think i need to just be even more laid back in future.

I wasnt ready to breakup though, and who knows what could have happened in the future. But if i wasnt seeing marriage and she was, then whats the point of going on.
I think another year or two to see how she changes herself (there are alot of things i dont like, and did let her know, important things like communication and feelings, not silly superficial things). She has a hard exterior but soft on the inside, and i think i broke her heart telling her these things, even though most relationships go through it. And i guess if she wasnt prepared to hear them, then theres not much i can hope for.

Im confident ill find somebody else, just hope she is somewhat normal... women these days... hard to find one with just a small amount of issues...

He can't drink as he's on pain killers AND he's injured himself so he can't be abusive either ;)
