So a some of you know, I became single last week.

I must say, December is the worst time to break up. Work is so quiet so I have 8 hours to sit and determine what and how things happened. I think of nothing else. The quietest times are the worst and I need to somehow keep my mind active :/

I have a whirlwind of emotions rushing within and can go from angry > upset > sad > depressed > angry within a few minutes.

Take leave and make sure you're in Margate on the 31st of December for the new years bash. You will forget all about her in a matter of minutes ;)

I agree take some time off, grab some friends and head for the beach.

I also broke up recently with my GF.... and I am actually glad it happened at this time of year.... Babes in bikinis :D:D

It's because we're all getting single so fast ... and sad ... and stuff :'(

I can honestly say, that if my marraige was to fsll flat on it's face. I would never marry again. I will have a JOL.

We'll that and move back to my folks cos I wouldn't be able to afford shyt after paying maintenance for 4 kids :D

Let me add, it gets worse when I check on Facebook and see my friends with eir happy partners - and everyone looks so happy :/

Or walking through the malls Xmas shopping ... all I see are couples!

I feel like I'm listening to myself right now. Those are the very same thoughts I have every single day...

I have even worse luck than you!

Where's DJK to tell you to man up, I know he's hovering around here again?

Now is the time to pour yourself into those projects you might have put on hold because there was no time.

Unfortunately those thoughts are going to happen regardless. I might be when you're driving alone in your car for those two hours in traffic. Just never, ever play Sinead o'Connors "Nothin compares to you" whilst doing so! I could give you System of a Down's "Lonely Day".

Seriously being sad and depressed and then angry that you've been forced to feel that way is normal. Having lots of free thinking time doesn't help, but thinking about it and then feeling about it is the only way to get it out of your system, I'm afraid. No short cuts here, I'm afraid, its a risk we all take when getting involved.
