I'm probably going to need a decent and cheap wireless access point, because I can't stand messing with cables for a LAN, and was wondering if anyone could recommend one or knows of a good deal. A 100+ Mbps I think should be a minimum though.

The cheaper the better lol :o

100Mbps on wireless, oh boy. You do know the restrictions to using wireless right? You will not get the same performance on wireless as you do with cable. (I completed my CWNA so I have some idea of what I am talking about)

Yeah, but it's not cheap.

Draft N, 300mbps or SuperG which 108mbps. Draft N in around R800 just for the card and if you want to put in e decent router it will cost you R2500

Ummm...that's a bit expensive. Take2 has a Netgear, not a cheap brand by any means, for R1404. That's for a draft N WIFI, ADSL router. I'd get a D-Link or a Linksys though as they offer better bang for buck (I have a Netgear).

Hey

I used a el-cheapo Mecer Wireless unit with an 8 DBI Antenna and Linked it to my pc and set it up as an Access Point and it works quite comfortable in our building with 8 users running VIP Payroll.
