Decent cooler for Quad core 9400 intel 775 processor

Cooler Master Hyper TX2. Best budget cooler and can install without removing the mobo.

What kind of budget though?

not overclocking, just trying to improve on the existing Intel fan that it came with, or u reckon i'm wasting money here, the default cooler good enough?

I have a stock fan on my Intel CPU. It's perfectly fine. You can even overclock a little bit without getting any cooling issues.

There's only one brand for cooling - Thermalright. Get the Ultra 120 Extreme.

There was reviews a while ago campared to the stock Intel cooler and guese what, Who was in the top few! Intel. If you clean the CPU and cooler bases properly, add reputable heatpaste like artic silver You cannot go wrong. I use a standard intel cooler and are overclocking my CPU. Never had a problem. Yes It can be better but for now its fine. If you do not plan to do heavy overclocking or want better looks then dont waste your money, else look at the orbs.
