Decent cooler for Quad core 9400 intel 775 processor

even if your not overclocking, the stock intel coolers are noisy. get rid of em

Go for the TX2 as recommended above. My Q8200 was running @ 65 degrees celsius. With the TX2 it runs @ 40 deg C. And I got mine from Sybriatic too.

I recommend the hyper212, much better cooling for a little extra and the cooler is secured.

Got my hyper212 installed the weekend and have it on silent, quadcvore temps are down by 10C... let me repeat it is silent fans are turned down to lowest RPM. ;)

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro is what I use. Pretty good heatsink and it's quiet too. It was designed with Pentium 4's in mind, but it works just as well on my Q9450.

Worth a look, though I have to admit it's not maybe the best looking cooler ever.

my board temps are a little concerning, or is this normal
my CPU is running at 50C
MCH/ICH is running at around 70C, I touched the heatsinks and they pretty warm, probably the hottest items in the box. The HD, CPU and GPU all running warm to the touch but nowhere near 70C. Is this normal?
While this is a good article, it mentions nothing as to what is normal operating temps

I have the DP35DP Intel board
