Nice, thanks for the feedback. Hopefully buying a new hob / oven combo soon, was thinking of going gas but the induction just works so much better for us. Plus I have an excuse to get some snazzy pots and pans!

If you're buying a new stove now and don't go gas there's no hope for you... Loadshedding is here to stay
These concepts always assume that you can maintain a perfectly minimalistic and showable kitchen. I wouldn't want the haphazard assortment of leftovers, wilted celery plants, 95% consumed jam jars and other odds and sods that make up the contents of my fridge to be visible to the world.
Agreed, bit sceptic bout the fridge but the hob / table and recipe camera thing is the bees knees!
Yeah I don't know about that either hey, my stove area after cooking is a huge mess. I wouldn't want to eat there as well. It could definitely work in certain living situations, like really small apartments where space was premium. I couldn't be bothered about having recipes suggested to me though, I prefer to do that myself. Nah... not buying into this one.
I used my eBucks to buy a R700 Panache cast iron pot. It works great! I couldn't justify spending R3000 on the same thing from Le Creuset.
They seem decent, but we don't use them that often, so have held up well. Those are frequently on sale at Takealot. Anybody can give a review on their quality? I've seen them below R2k before.

I really wanted to enjoy this cookware set, at first it seemed like a really good deal, like a decent alternative to a Le Creuset set, but the quality on this enamel cookware is mediocre at best. The enamel started peeling and chipping from the bottom of the pots after a couple of months cooking. I don't use any harsh utensils and not on very high heat either. Enamelled cast iron cookware is super awesome if it is decent quality, but this set is not. There is a reason why this only has a 6 month warranty. I couldn't return it because I left it in the box for a few months until I moved and now it is too late. I struggle to endorse Le Creuset because their prices are ridiculous, but even that is much more acceptable than this cookware set.

Pots looks great but am not very happy with them. They rust and stains remain inside, they do cook well.
