Signed up to Apple Music to give this a try, was desperately looking for something my kids could use as well. Let's see how this goes. You can cancel billing as soon as you've signed up, much like any trial out there.
Again, I'm no fan of Apple. But I rate Apple Music as the best right now.
No other streaming service offers this in SA:
- R90pm family plan
- Cloud library
- Freedom to download anything you want, not just playlists
- Extensive curated playlists & radio stations
- Competent playlists generated for individual tracks
Play Music doesn't have a family plan, and Deezer, Simfy, Spotify etc. don't have cloud libraries.

I hope you enjoy it. The family plan is amazing value.
Btw - artist avatars in artist view should be fixed in the next iTunes update. If an artist doesn't have a profile pic in iTunes their pic is supposed to be random album art.
I hope so to. The only thing I've found annoying while playing with it last night, was the extremely slow creation and adding to playlists.
Using your username and password - Just like Netflix et al. Then they just click on their profile.Anyone on here who can help me with the process of adding a new profile to Deezer Family?
I've subscribed to Deezer Family, and added one new profile (via the website, not the app). How does that new profile owner log in, since the procedure to add a profile does not produce login credentials for the new profile?
I'm waiting for the Deezer helpdesk to get back to me, but it seems it could be a while.
That's a bummer. Play Music - web interface & cloud management but no family plan. Deezer - family plan & web interface but no cloud management.
You can upload your own MP3's to deezer.

People have been doing it with Supersport and overseas college students have been doing it for ages with Netlix. They're about to reach 100 million paying subs regardless...Thanks backstreet boy. What's to stop that user from handing out login credentials to his mates? Since you can link 3 devices per profile, and there are maximum six profiles, it could be a minor moneyspinner?
