Deezer streaming and buffering

I've been using Deezer for almost 2 years now without problems, until last week.

Now, every song that I don't have already downloaded to my SD card starts with 'Loading...this will only take a few seconds' or something like that, and when it starts, it does that every couple of seconds.

Details: This is when connected to my car sound system with Bluetooth, and I switched to Telkom Mobile about 4 months ago. I have had no issue with this until last week. I have made a point of running a speed test at various times and locations during the day, and I get download speed of anywhere between 10-40 Mbps, and uploads anywhere between 2 - 20 Mbps. YouTube works perfectly, as does Netflix, so I'm hesitant to think it's network related.

Has anyone had a similiar issue?

Log a support ticket with Deezer, or switch to Spotify

Telkom LTE shaping Deezer streaming traffic

I have been unable to stream music through the Deezer app and website this past week. Switching to a 128Kb/s stream did not help either. Did some testing this morning and it appears that Telkom is crippling the stream, everything else (youtube, netflix, etc) works fine, when I run a speed test...

Interesting, never had an issue since switching over, even when traveling to other towns. Only the past week. Will monitor this. Just came back from Somerset West, seems ok now again. Will contact Telkom also.
