There are a few prepaid meters like the Conlog and lTron that doesn't differentiate direction so any flow is counted as consumption.

If they installed the CT clamp backwards like we have seen on here so many times that could very easily cause the problem but trying to drag info out of op seems like way too much effort.
The feedback is sensible. I am on Postpaid.
CT clamp backwards - it could be, but I wouldn't have known. As mentioned the Service provider has since done a full re-installation including a complete change of the DB Box.
Lete know what other information you require.

All I can get from the Solarman app
Looking at this, you're consuming more then you're generating and more than your batteries are holding, you're purchasing about a third of your consumption from the grid. What does your meter reading indicate? Looks like you'd roughly be using about 200 to 260 units a month from grid?

With the information provided, it is anyone's guess...
3 years - I explained this earlier. Initially I thought the madam was just not using the solar optimally (i.e., doing the ironing, cooking and baking after hours/ not enough sunshine etc). It was only after I bought a gas stove and installed a geyser switch I realised something must be wrong.

Except that the bill says 894 (average monthly consumption)! They argue that this is due to the grid feed-in.

Ok, I'm tired of saying the same thing over and over again now 😁

Does it say actual reading or estimate? Remember they loooove to estimate.

For that photo can you give an entire month? Not just a day as I see that there are quite a few days when it spikes really high for consumption, so it is highly possible you're using 894 from the grid actually.
Instead of selecting one day, can you not select an entire month, look at January, look at February.

Yes, 3 years, it is still a long time in my opinion. Myself and others like @Lupus are a bit OCD with our systems while understandably many are not.

And for a time period where you have a bill? We can then compare what you system says it is generating, supplying, back feeding, pulling from grid, etc. to what the municipality says you are using. Even with a small system like yours that should be powering most of your load during the day, back feeding to get a bill for 897kWh is a stretch...

Sometimes too much so apparently... The guy who bought my old system is just as bad, which has been a good thing as he's picked up many a fault from the installer.

I thought it was, alright here's a different view:
Essentially this view (plant production report) materially differs from the bill (municipality).

Those are good. So how much did you get billed for by the municipality?

And you're 100% certain it's an actual reading no estimation? Looking at your system, you're not going to be saving anything more than 30 to 35% of your bill anyway though ;-( it's too small for 800kWh a month usage. You need to double up the battery at a minimum to bring in some savings.

Municipality bill is one-two months or so, behind. So, here's a decent example in November for illustration purposes:

Solar: 196.82 grid consumption Vs Bill: 849
