I watched the first episode on Action channel yesterday and liked it. Did a google search for it today and saw it got cancelled after season 1.

WTF is the point of broadcasting a series when it has already been cancelled? I see no point in watching it further.

Nothing wrong with watching series that only lasts a season. IMO too many shows don't know when to quit.

Defying Gravity is a great series, and yes a pity it was cancelled. Same as Surface, Carnivalle (at least that ran for 2 seasons) and many others... Never the less Defying Gravity is well worth watching! Sort of Greys Anatomy in space :)

I agree with you. It however has a 3 seasons story line (ala Babylon 5) so it has a start and a end.

I wish they would rebroadcast Babylon 5, was an epic show.

Saw about half of the pilot last night - bleh! Glad it got cancelled. Surface and Threshold (another sci fi series) were great, but this was just poor.

I mean look at the wiki page - it was pitched as Grey's Anatomy in space! The first episode had way too much emotion heavy music considering we dont know the characters and dont care about them.

Watch Life, only 2 seasons. Awesome.

Depends how it ends, I guess. If you're left in the air, wondering what the hell happened, then it's pretty pointless screening the series. Just becomes a waste of your time.

Defying Gravity was absolutely awful TV. The pacing was off, they went crazy trying to make everything as dramatic as possible in an effort to sell it as "Greys Anatomy in Space" and it just became completely overwraught to the point of parody.

The reason canceled shows get shown is because they are cheap to buy.
