Delays with MWEB received emails

Did anyone else get inconvenienced by this?
They admit that there was a delay yesterday (Thursday) but I had an email sent to me on Tuesday only being received today..
Some emails got through. Even their portal was affected.
 
I have finally received a response from the tech gurus at MWEB: No, there's no problem! (i.e. you must have been dreaming..)
This event has prompted me to use my gmail address for one of the overseas sites I receive posts from...
 
Once the mail is received pull the header and head over to testconnectivity.microsoft.com and paste it into their header analyser, it will show you how much time was spent at each hop to identify the faulty MTA

This problem has not disappeared and occurs from time to time.
However when I check the header of delayed emails it doesn't show the delay that I'm experiencing.
Is it possible the the ISP receives the email but doesn't post it to my mailbox?
