Don't forget, it's a forum. It's a site. I get that some folks think this is their world or what not. But the main purpose of it is to allow folks to communicate. I just can't believe you get folks who are stingy about it. Grew up lmfao.

So... what is that you are trying to communicate, or rather convey, here?

Hell no I can just imagine some low life 30-40 year olds, hooked behind their monitor. Eagerly waiting for a post, or any post, so they can smash their unneeded two cents and smack talking on topics. After that, they tip their deteriorated fedora. Saying something like "gotcha hehe". Like a Southpark episode.

Like I made a post earlier about promoting a rsa community for instrumentalists or musicians to network, the post was removed with reason "too spammy". Like wtf haha. Grow up lol, get a life. I knew it was a bad idea to even just gaze at this shtswamp. I guess the proof was just in the pudding.

Other forums and communities are like "yeah dude, promote the local establishments. By all means, local is lekker!" while MyBb clearly is against it. Funniest **** ever.

LMFAO bro, what shtswamp do you normally hang out at?

Please go to your nearest Spar and post your AD on their community bulletin board outside

Definitely a legitimate question, for which there doesn't seem to be a good answer.

The answer is openly sought, but the only people around here who could possibly answer that are the super moderators or rpm.

I don't believe an account purge would be possible, given the indexing, linking, etc., perhaps making it anonymous is an option because that is what I would do, but the user won't have access to the account any more so no account reinstatement. This community may end up with schit posters, like real schit seeking posters, and then demand their accounts to be deleted in an attempt to remove accountability, which is all too popular on social media. People don't like to be traced to their historical records.

Well imagine I start a popular thread about photography. People contribute and there's a load of info in there. Be stupid if that was deleted because I was a pedant who wanted my account purged of everything. In fact I'd probably lose interest to post if I knew threads could be randomly removed like this.

It's definitely an admin task rather than a mod task.

A user can change their username to something completely random and then simply leave. The best a mod can do is ban the user.

I mean engagement means nothing if there are no target audiences or any form of networking/marketing/leads applied. It's comedic to me, that you think participants just appear out of nowhere. You can just sit back, on your gaming chair -and wait. And post a few things on your site.

Any sane or partially normal person would be like "Lekker dude, share that ****. We like supporting local communities". But you'll always get that fedora wearing cnt who likes to complain about things that aren't even a stick up ya arse.
The point is, you do not know how to engage. Your first attempt here is to attack. How will you ever deal with a difficult situation. Grow up, and then try again.

Then communicate. By insulting and attacking a whole community is childish.

Imagine we delete the Mecer thread because my feelings are hurt.

I think engagement is more important in building a community and even starting from scratch.

I started beekeeping, created a post and took people with me on my beekeeping journey. In 8 months the thread has over 34k views. A lot of my sales have been to other MyBB members and I never started with the intention to sell.

I've helped a few new beekeepers get into the beekeeping business all unsolicited and through directly contacting me either here, via my YouTube channel or recently just sending me a WhatsApp.

It would have been a difficult journey if a posted spammy posts asking people to follow me and join my groups.
