The answer is openly sought, but the only people around here who could possibly answer that are the super moderators or rpm.

I don't believe an account purge would be possible, given the indexing, linking, etc., perhaps making it anonymous is an option because that is what I would do, but the user won't have access to the account any more so no account reinstatement. This community may end up with schit posters, like real schit seeking posters, and then demand their accounts to be deleted in an attempt to remove accountability, which is all too popular on social media. People don't like to be traced to their historical records.

It’s exactly what happens.

The content gets anonymised and marked as “Guest” posts otherwise it breaks all the links and thread structures.

ps. when you make an alt account it is always good to break from your main account's pattern(s).

It is rather easy to follow a pattern let lone look at the ip addresses x posts for said person. But if you are dumb cashewnut then well dumb will dumb.
