Deleted user profile with all files

Hi
We were cleaning up the computer too quickly tonight and clicked on ok to delete all files with the profile that was to go but never realised that the user using that profile had moved all the files to his profile. We have lost 30 gig of music acquired over an age arrrghh!!!
Have downloaded a few undelete utilities but they are all asking to undelete the 30 gig to a different drive from the deleted drive. That drive (D has mega space and my C: drive has only about 16 Gig available.
Do any of you know if there are undelete utilities that can use the same drive that the files were deleted from?
Otherwise I guess an option is to borrow an external drive from someone or get a usb cable and connect pc to my laptop? Any suggestions please.

Yep thats the one that i've tried but it only provides for an alternate drive to copy back the deleted files to - don't have enough space

You need an alternative drive with enough free space unfortunately.

System REstore - will have to look at what options are available. Thanks for that, will give it a try tomorrow.

The problem is that if you restore to the same drive you're recovering from, there is a very strong chance that you will overwrite the data you're trying to recover.
