Dell Inspiron 5559

Hi guys,

I just purchased a laptop from DionWired today. It is the Dell Inspiron 5559. Is it a good laptop? Can I get a better deal somewhere else? I only realized after I bought it that the display is 1366 x 768 and not FULL HD. The sales rep told me it's the latest laptop they have so my uncle got it for me as a gift!

You advise is needed! The laptop cost R14 000!!!!
 
I think a better question should be what do you intend to do with the laptop. If you require something more powerful you can always sell your current dell in the classified section or online and then use the cash to get something better. It seems decent enough though however that depends entirely on your intended usage of it.

I'm just going to use the laptop mainly for studying and surfing the net so basically ppt presentations, tutorial videos and accessing social media.

My biggest worry is that for the price I paid I should be getting a display that is 1920 x 1080 but I would also like advice as to which other laptop that I can get. I believe that DionWired offers a 7 day full return on purchases?
 
yes you can return it. i once bought something from them and they gladly gave my money back after just having for like 3 days
 
Rather get the Dell Inspiron 7559, you get full HD and there is place for a M.2 SSD as well as a 2.5 HDD. One screw opens the bottom and you have access to upgrade without having to remove 18 screws and try the force the casing open like some of the other laptops.
