Dell laptop with embeded 3G

So i got this fancy dell 1525, its got built in 3G, how do i activate it, on the vodacom network. it has a built in simcard, i wish to use this with prepaid.

any ideas.

ok, question answered, remove the battery, find the sim-card slot, take out the included vodaphone sim, and insert a vodacom simcard, Done, and it works.

However my partner has the same laptop and, when he uses the embedded 3g, his screen goes wavy ???

The aerial is in the screen surround. Should not do the wavy bit

You might have accidentally got the one (with the 5KW radio) earmarked for Karl.

So rather log a call and let them look at it.

Sounds like the interference one gets from 2.xG on speakers, maybe your partner is using the 2G only setting?
