Hi all
I have a Dell Latitude E6430 laptop on which I did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional.

After the clean install I whent to Dell's website to get all drivers and installed all recommended drivers including those for the USB3, but the USB3 ports still don't work.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers again but still nothing.

I tried the Intel driver update utility and I also tried Dell's command update one, but it says no drivers are missing or outdated.

I also did all Windows updates

Under USB devices in device manager it lists a unknown device which I presume must be the USB3 ports, I tried searching for drivers off the internet threw device manager, but it doesn't find any.

Any ideas, anything else I can try?

What is hardware ID?
It looks like: PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4386&blablabla

Are you sure you have USB3.0 ports? There are optional. If your laptop has USB3.0 ports, there are marked 'SS' for Super Speed.
